On Piano
On Piano® is an instrumental music project created by Italian-born composer and producer Frank Iengo in 2017, centered on the piano while evolving beyond the boundaries of a single musical style. Its first release, “Clouds,” came out in 2018, marking the start of the project’s recorded catalog.
On Piano’s early sound was characterized by a woody, open, and relatively bright piano timbre, heard in “Clouds” and subsequent releases including “Sweetness,” “Drifting Away,” “Reflections,” and “Walking with You.”
Over time, the project evolved toward a softer, warmer, and more intimate sound, with greater emphasis on space, resonance, and melodic simplicity. This evolution became particularly evident in compositions such as “Van Gogh,” “Chiar di Luna,” “Countless Days,” and “Along the River.”
