Virginio Aiello
Virginio Aiello (1975) is an Italian pianist and composer with a solid background in classical and jazz music. He began studying piano and accordion at six, graduating in Piano and Jazz Music at the S. Giacomantonio Conservatory in Cosenza, and subsequently earned a Master’s degree in Jazz Composition.
For over 25 years, he has performed classical, jazz, tango, and bossa nova, playing piano, accordion, and Hammond organ. 2015, he released El Barrio with the Sertango Quartet, receiving excellent feedback. In 2020, his album Piano Songs for Children won the “Album of the Year” award from SoloPiano.com.
Today, he dedicates himself to composing for solo piano and achieving great success on streaming platforms.
